CD Ripper not looking up tracks

I had ripped several CDs, then mounted a Billy Joel CD and the metadata was missing for the most part, and I was prompted that "Gnudb requires registration."

I manually entered the data, and installed the latest version of software.

I inserted a different CD (also Billy Joel), and the same thing happened.

I inserted a CD from a different artist and label and it seemed to kind of get it right, although the song titles were all in Japanese, and Norah Jones was listed as a "Dixieland" artist.

Am I missing something? Have been using this program successfully without issue for quite a number of years.

You need the latest version R2024-5-30 this has removed GNUDB and replaced it with the much better AccurateRip Meta

It will be reading the CD from the cache, click refresh to re-read from the internet. If that disc has no metadata in any of the providers, you would still see the above false listing, as it would take from the cache if not present online.
