Really odd error while ripping

Anyone ever have it grab parts of other songs on your drive while ripping and mix it into the track??

Not in my case, with close to 2k discs.

Anecdotal, but 20+ years ago I experienced a similar faulty mix but not whilst ripping, instead whilst downloading mp3's on a PC pushed way over its limits. But you would be a fool, like I was, if you deliberately pushed your computer with heavy multi-tasking like that. So very unlikely to be your issue.
