Hi all,
I've been having a problem with one of my CDs lately. When trying to rip Permanent Waves by Rush, I can only get accurate rips on the first three tracks. The last three tracks will perpetually re-rip. I've generally treated dBpoweramp as infallible, but the thing that makes me question this is the fact that I got the CD new twice from Amazon. When the first CD didn't give an accurate rip (again, last three songs), I sent it back for a replacement. This second CD also succeeds the first three tracks, fails the last three.
Is it possible that AccurateRip is looking at a wrong version of the album or something? I'm imagining something like I have the remastered version but AR is looking at the original master. I don't know why the first three would be correct, but it's a thought I had. I know it's possible that I could get two CDs that fail at exactly the same tracks, it just seems very unlikely.
Thanks for the help!
