    Sorry - 3 questions ...

    Hi,

I'm ripping my CDs with my MacBook M1 an an external CD Drive.

    1. Is there a shortcut to open/close the CD-Tray?
    2. Is there a way (any parameter) to start directly into "CD Ripper"?
    3. After ripping the Tray opens automatically (is configured), but it closed after a (too) short while? Why? Is it configurable?

    Many Tanks for Help!

    1. 2nd button on tool bar in CD Ripper is eject, pressing it again should close the drive (if supported)
    2. no, iTunes (or Apple Music) take over loading of a CD, there is no override
    3. it would not be dBpoweramp closing the tray, perhaps another program?

      1. I knew this, but is there a Keyboard-Shortcut to open/close the tray.
      2. May be my Question was wrong formulated. I have first to start dbpoweramp and then CD Ripper“. Is there a chance to start it directly? Or with Apple Script or similar tools?
      3. OK, it may be MacOs

Does System Settings (or System Preferences, depending on the version of macOS you're using) > CDs & DVDs > When you insert a blank CD > Open Other Applications allow it?
