    CD Ripper continues forever

I Just purchased this dbpowerAmp including CD Ripper.

The very first CD I try to rip as Flac starts fine and the time continues to count up. But nothing happens - it says 0% all the time ?=??

Very bad start of this program. How can I diagnose what is wrong?

Can you play the CD on your PC?

    What platform/OS is your PC?

What version of dBpoweramp Music Converter is installed?

Are you running any anti-virus/security software?

It starts the CD when I push the Play buttion. But I can't hear anything. And after some time it seams to stall. dBpowerAmp did stop and the program terminated

      Running the newest Windows 10

dBpowerAmp 64-bit release 15.3 (everything is updated)

Yes I'm using Trend Micro Internet Security

Can you try temporarily disabling the Trend Micro Internet Security software?

I'm able to play from other programs. Tried diabling Trend and AnyDVD and once more tried dbpoweramp ripper. Had to reboot computer as something was hanging.

After rebout i tried again disabling Trend and AnyDVD but this time using my real DVD drive (not my burner) Now it succeseded . I belive than I't can't use my LG Blueray reader/writer even though It could se the tracks ?

Sorry, I'm confused. Are you saying you have 2 optical drives, 1 DVD drive and 1 LG Blu-ray drive?

If you can't play the audio CD with the LG BH16NS40 drive, check the installed drivers and check with LG for a new firmware version.

                    ... and the latest drivers?

Can you successfully play a Blu-ray movie disc in the LG BH16NS40 drive?

Is your Windows 10 PC an upgraded Windows 7/8 PC or a new certified Windows 10 PC?

                      Re: CD Ripper continues forever

My Windows 10 is an upgraded Windows 7

It in fact had an firmware update. I did this. I cant' find other driverse - I think these are the defaults from Windows 10 og 7 from previous

I tried againg without luck. But when using the other drive - it works fine - even with both Virus and AnyDVD running meanwhile :-)

So I conclude that It cant run using a LG BH16NS40

Yes, but it also looks like you can't do anything (even play discs) with the LG BH16NS40. Sorry, but I do not know what else to suggest.

Perhaps you can contact LG for a possible incompatibility issue with the drive and Windows 10.
