Hey folks, I apologise if I'm repeating anything which is already on this forum...

I'm looking to get an internal Blu-Ray drive which can also rip CDs (I'm resorting to physical media for both music and video).

Does anyone know any good recommendations?

        Thanks

Internal Blu Ray drives that can be installed inside a PC. I'm getting a Fractal Pop Air PC Case, which has support for 2.5 optical drives.

ah good news. I'll wait a bit until I buy a new drive then

high on most peoples wish list I guess is that somehow some more info re the drive is available. like internal/external and is it still available as new

It is unlikely much changes these days on the list.

                      hi
may I know why these drives are rated differently ?
                      just for curiosity
                      Drive: ASUS - SDRW-08U7M-U (355 users): Submissions: 6497 accurate, 82 inaccurate, 98.7536 % accuracy
                      Drive: ASUS - SDRW-08U9M-U (397 users): Submissions: 4243 accurate, 165 inaccurate, 96.2568 % accuracy
the are the same drives , same hardware same firmware , even accroding Asus
                      thanks

Because actual users of the differently labeled drives had differing accuracy rates reported back to ACCURATERIP.

                          hi
even the user numbers are pretty close ?
in short if i start to rip many cds this value could increase?

They might be the same drive, the former might have been manufactured by a different factory to a different tolerance.

The beauty of ACCURATERIP is that almost any drive will work. If you get an AR match (>1) then you know you have a good rip no matter what drive you used.
(AR = 1 *could* be your own prior rip)
