I have been using a multi-rip process for years, over a decade, to get tracks to two drives for network consumption as FLAC, and device portability as MP3.
However today I listed to just one ripped track, and it had a skip after about 17 seconds.
The MP3 does not.
I tried to re-rip, exactly the same result
I tried a different drive, exactly the same result
I tried writing to a different HD, same result...
Any idea why this might be, and how to overcome it?
