    program stopped working

    I've been using the cd ripper and music converter for a couple of years.
    Today they won't open. Tried re installing but when I open I get a tiny little window
    but not the program
    Also uninstalled and re installed
    but no program. Any suggestions?

      A tiny window opena that says "Insert Audio CD"
      but the full program won't open

          There have been many reports that the recent security update KB3057839 to Windows Vista is breaking dBpoweramp (CD Ripper and Batch Converter will not show). We have not been able to reproduce this issue locally, however it has been found that functionality can be restored by either: 1) Uninstall the update KB3057839 or 2)

              I've discovered today that my ripper has the same behavior but it's been working fine. The update you refer to though has been on machine since Apr 2015. Something else must be stopping it from opening as well. It does fix it disabling desktop composite but in doing so creates screen flicker when opening and closing.
