How Do I Download Apple Lossless Codec

I just upgraded to dBpoweramp Reference 15.3. When I try to rip to Apple Lossless it is greyed out and I get a message to download the codec. When I click OK I am brought to a page that tells me the codec is included with dBpoweramp Reference. How do I install the codec?

I would great appreciate any guidance on this matter.

It is included as standard in R15.3, try uninstall, reboot windows then reinstall R15.3

Thanks for your reply. I uninstalled rebooted and re-installed but unfortunately got the same result.The Aiff and Apple Lossless encoders are shown greyed out in the dBpoweramp Configuration. When I click on "Check For Updates" it tells me that all the latest programs and codecs are installed.

It is very likely that your security software are taking:

Apple Lossless.dll

and

AIFF.dll

and removing them from the system, try to disable your security software then reinstall.

I searched my dBpoweramp Programs folder. It contains the Apple Lossless.dll encoder and the AIFF encoder and decoder. Both are still greyed out in the application with my firewall turned off.

If you have:

\dBpoweramp\Encoder\Apple Lossless.dll

Then 100% it is the security software which is blocking the DLL from being loaded.

It would not be a firewall which does this, rather anti virus, or anti malware, or anti phishing, etc.
