    CD Ripping Issues

On 2 quad-core amd PCs Dbpoweramp is trying to rip four tracks at once and it just ends up with rubbish or all inaccurate.

Until I upgraded to Win8.1 Media Center Edition, four 4 core PCs and one 6 core, all AMD, all 16GB RAM, GPT HDDs and recent optical drives, all was fine but now I get all sorts of errors and even more so since the upgrade of Dbpoweramp to 15.3, I have Perfectrip as well, family editions of both products.

Am I doing something wrong or is there some setting I need to tweak to resolve this.

    Any help appreciated.

Use CD Ripper to rip, not right click on .cda files >> Convert to.

CD Ripper will only rip 1 track at once, but encoding can be on multiple cpus.

Always using rip, something in the back of my mind about "Read Into Lead In or Lead Out". Have changed drives on one PC from IDE to AHCI and that produces better results.
How do you rip 320kbps on an x64 system as you cannot load Fraunhofer Codecs.

Use Lame and select CBR, 320 kbps can be selected.
