Width of the "Length' column n dBpoweramp

This is a minor annoyance but an annoyance just the same. I would like to request that the width of the Length column be reduced to allow more room on the screen for other columns such as Composer and ISRC.

The data in the Length column is right-justified and very predictable as to the information displayed, but the darned column is nearly three times wider than in needs to be, at least in my English-language version of the program on a Windows 7 Pro 64-bit PC.

I suppose I could stop displaying the Length column altogether, but the information is both useful and informative when readying to rip a CD.

Actually, an even better solution would be to make it so that all of the display columns adjust their width automatically to just the width of the widest entry in each column. This is a very nice opportunity to make an excellent program perfect.

    Thanks...

dBp's registry entry has a "CDRipperColumns1" parameter that defines all the column widths. Mine (the length column, specifically) is set at 50 and that seems to be a good size. CD Ripper remembers the last column widths.

EDIT: Okay, just confirmed. Simply resize the columns to the width you want and then close CD Ripper. The new values are written to the registry and become your new defaults. dBp offers a very simple solution to your issue!

This important point here is that you have to close CDRipper for the column settings to be stored.

Not sure why CDRipper can't write/read from the registry when the column settings are changed, without closing/reopening, but this is the way it is.
