Gave 15.2 another try today, after having problems with the beta. Unfortunately, I have the the same issues with the release version.
Using my external drive SOME CDs rip like this (for all tracks):
Drive & Settings
----------------
Ripping with drive 'H: [TSSTcorp - CDDVDW SE-S204N ]', Drive offset: 6, Overread Lead-in/out: No
AccurateRip: Active, Using C2: Yes, Cache: 1024 KB, FUA Cache Invalidate: No
Pass 1 Drive Speed: Max, Pass 2 Drive Speed: 8
Bad Sector Re-rip:: Drive Speed: 8, Maximum Re-reads: 4
Encoder: FLAC -compression-level-5
Extraction Log
--------------
Track 1: Ripped LBA 32 to 26552 (5:53) in 0:02. Filename: C:\Users\Joachim Herbert\Music\Lossless\Carlos Santana\Supernatural\01 Santana - (Da Le) Yaleo.flac
AccurateRip: Inaccurate (confidence 200) Secure [Pass 1]
CRC32: 81778EE0 AccurateRip CRC: 569C5672 [DiscID: 013-0021308b-014c10d1-cb11940d-1]]
while with the internal drive the result is as it should be like this:
Drive & Settings
----------------
Ripping with drive 'G: [HL-DT-ST - DVDRW GA32N ]', Drive offset: 103, Overread Lead-in/out: No
AccurateRip: Active, Using C2: No, Cache: 1024 KB, FUA Cache Invalidate: No
Pass 1 Drive Speed: 10, Pass 2 Drive Speed: Max
Bad Sector Re-rip:: Drive Speed: Max, Maximum Re-reads: 4
Encoder: FLAC -compression-level-5
Extraction Log
--------------
Track 1: Ripped LBA 32 to 26552 (5:53) in 2:22. Filename: C:\Users\Joachim Herbert\Music\Lossless\Carlos Santana\Supernatural\01 Santana - (Da Le) Yaleo.flac
AccurateRip: Accurate (confidence 200) [Pass 1]
CRC32: A6935A26 AccurateRip CRC: 35C51F14 (CRCv2) [DiscID: 013-0021308b-014c10d1-cb11940d-1]
AccurateRip Verified Confidence 200 [CRCv2 35c51f14]
AccurateRip Verified Confidence 200 [CRCv1 5e449431]
AccurateRip Verified Confidence 200 [CRCv2 a3f8df79], Using Pressing Offset +669
AccurateRip Verified Confidence 200 [CRCv1 1f1ceaab], Using Pressing Offset +669
Strange thing is, that the external drive sometimes does work, but most of the time does not.
Hardware is an imac mid 2012 running Windows 8.1, which is used as a windows machine 99,9 percent of the time. Internal drive is fine (but slow), external drive shows the above error. Any suggestions?
