    Upgrade to R15 from R14

What's the recommended way of upgrading to R15 from R14?

I ran the R15 executable on top of the existing R14 installation yesterday, on my Windows 7 64 Bit laptop, and wondered if I should have uninstalled the previous 32 bit application version first.

I generally only rip to FLAC, if this helps answer the question.

Yes is best to uninstall 32 bit version first, run this:

...also how to do a full reset of dBpoweramp? (if dBpoweramp crashes for some reason) Where does dBpoweramp save its files / settings? It is installed to c:\Program Files\Illustrate\dBpoweramp or c:\Program Files (x86)\Illustrate\dBpoweramp The 64 bit version of dBpoweramp is installed to: c:\Program Files\dBpoweramp It

    Then reinstall.

Hopefully a stupid question, but the 64 bit CD Ripper isn't superior to the 32 bit in terms of sound quality, meaning it would be better to rip all my CD's to FLAC again?

FLAC is always lossless - no matter if you have ripped the file with a 32bit or 64bit software. It is just a question of the code itself.
