Light weight question: How stop autoplay of CDs? (Windows Media Player, PowerDVD)

Its a PITA to have to stop the playing of each CD that I insert so that I can start ripping with dBpoweramp. I know I've done this before, but I don't recall how to stop the automatic playing of CDs that are inserted into the CD/DVD drive. I have 2 computers, one is Windows 7 and one is Windows 8 OS.

Thanks in advance of helping me with this simple question.
