I get constantly logged off from this site

Couldn't find an appropriate forum to post this, but it is annoying that it takes only a very short period
of time for me to get logged out of this site. Can that be fixed by this site? I.e. I'll reply to a post, hit "Post"
and then I'm forced to log back in (after only logging in a few minutes ago!).

It is not the site, I stay logged in for a month at a time. Perhaps you have something which disables this forum from saving a cookie.

agree. I stay logged in for months and everytime I return to the site, even after a reboot I'm automatically logged in. As spoon notes, check your security settings, cookie handling, etc.

or if you manually decide to clear your cookies you will log yourself off.

Can you explain that? Usually I have the problem you stated in your first post. Haven't logged into here for a while...
I'm not sure if I'll have my usual problem, seeing that I didn't write a long reply to you here.

somewhere in your browser settings/options (probably under privacy) you need to select "allow cookies from sites visited" or something similar.

to be Honest I forgot how I did it. But Like garym said-just went into chrome settings and tick or untick "allow"-another option is to copy-refresh page-paste and then it should go!
