Rip Issue - Small Size, no sound

I installed the current version of the program on a new computer and ripped a bunch of disks to flac using secure and accurate rip. Seemed to rip OK, but resulting file size was quite small - around 100K and when played there was no signal. Tried re-ripping with "After encoding verify written audio" checked and that did not produce any error, but files were still small and no sound.

I've used earlier versions of dbpoweramp for years with no problem, but at a loss as to this issue.

What platform, operating system? What security/virus software are you running, if any? Are you ripping to a local or network drive?

Windows 7, ripping to a network drive. No anti-virus.

same result whether using admin account or standard user account, whether to local or network drive. Files appear to rip correctly, but only result in 100-200K file sizes that won't play. Tested many different disks.

There must be some kind of security (anti malware, anti phishing, etc) which has put dBpoweramp in a sandbox so it cannot write to the files.

Also check your DSP effects are not being used, on the dsp tab.

ok, this is interesting, decided to revert to earlier version

1.opened control panel, uninstalled 15.2 (ripper and dsp effect), rebooted.
2.logged back in as standard user, unloaded trend micro, opened task manager and deleted from Processes any TM, then ran install of 14.2, entered admin credentials when prompted, install appeared to succeed.
                  3. Ripped disk using defaults to local drive, work fine, rip played correctly.
                  4. Repeated steps 1 & 2 swapping 14.2 and 15.2.
                  5. Ripped disk using defaults to local drive, seems to rip, but does it really fast as before and resulting files are around 100k again and do not play.

Close CD Ripper, Open dBpoweramp Configuration, and on the music converter tab enable the 'Debug' option (last one), click ok. Open CD Ripper, rip just track one, then close CD Ripper, there should be 2 debug log windows shown (in notepad), copy and paste the results here please.

There should have been a 2nd log shown?

Also why do you rip to C:\Temp\ folder?

there were a total of three files: flac, jpg of cover art and text log.

I'm just ripping to the c:\temp drive until we get it debugged, then I will switch back to a network share which I used in the past, just wanted to rip locally during testing to rule out another variable.

Have you run dBpoweramp Configuration and enabled the Music Converter Debug option?
