Hello,
when ripping audio CDs, dbpoweramp is upsampling my CD files to 16/96.
Strange is that under "estimated size", it sais 40 MB for a 4 minutes song, which is correct. But then on my harddrive I'll find a 16/96 file, with 89 MB .
This happens both with FLAC and WAV. Only solution I found is to use WAV and fix rate to 16/44, but this cannot be the final solution, as I want to use (uncompressed) FLAC files.
I tried an alternate disc drive, with the same results.
I tried "Exact Audio Copy", and it works correct (file size 40 MB, 16/44). So the problem must be within dbpoweramp, I guess...
Can someone help ??
Thanks,
trixo
