accurip and cd rip freezes system

drives reads the disc but when accurip configure or I try to rip the cd everything freezes. uploaded multiple times and even got the update from yesterday. Paid for product. please help

By freezes, the mouse does not even move?

Start CD Ripper with no CD in the drive, then click options and set Communication to Windows Built-in.

As a test you can try EAC? (exact audio copy), we need to determine if it is the program, or drive which is having issues.

eac locks up as well but windows media player for windows 7 works fine for ripping and playing cds. itunes will not play either. it recognizes then cycles through all the tracks without playing

You have a hardware issue, or driver issue. Try getting a 2nd cd drive.
