Commandline ripper does'nt release program

I have successfully used the commandline option of DbPowerAmp CD ripper.
It now rips even CD's with little scratches who formerly were not ripped by other ripping programs: sofar excellent
But after execution the rip program stays active and preventing the main program to react properly on screen actions

How can I deactivate the ripping program?
