    Not accessing AccurateRip Information

    Hi:

Lately, none of the CDs I load into my CD/DVD drive are accessing any track/artist/album information from AccurateRip. All of them are displaying "Not in AccurateRip" under Rip Status.

I never had this problem until recently.

My internet connection is fine so can anyone assist me as to why DBPowerAmp is unable to access the Meta information and how I can correct this?

    Thank you.

Did you enable the proxy setting? If so, try to disable it.

No. Proxy setting is disabled. I did not change any settings in DBPowerAmp at all for a long time.

In dBpoweramp Configuration, there is a check box "allow dbpoweramp to access internet", it should be checked.

If it is, then you have a firewall which is blocking the program (or anti malware, or anti phising program).

I do not know what happened to my earlier reply but it was the firewall. I recently installed Norton Security Suite and I figured out that all I had to do was change the firewall setting for DBPowerAmp from auto to allow.

          Thank you.
