Newbie issues - Metadata controls destinations

I'm trying to rip CDs to FLACs, but without metadata in the FLACs themselves. If I ever want data in those files I'll use something like Tag.

However, if I blank the entries in the "ID Meta" tab, they also get blanked in the top fields where I had to put them to specify the rip destination. So the \[album]\[title] entries in the "Naming" field are ineffective, and all rips go into the base "Path". Can't have that.

Again... new to this and may be missing something... but I suggest that I should not have to write metadata to the music file in order to specify the rip destination. Currently it seems that I will have to enable metadata for the ripping and then strip it out of the files with Tag.

Use the DSP Effect 'ID Tag Processing', set to delete all tags
