    c2 pointer..?

On my tech info it states my drive supports c2 pointers-so can i therefore assume i have them.

I have done the test with marked cd and when time bar window opens nothing happens-even after 5 mins....i then cancel..

But my cd drive is a cheap one so doubt if i even have C2 POINTERS.

    Help!!!

The tech info page cannot be relied on, if nothing happens on the test, then c2 pointers are not even supported that it can rip.

You have confused me bit here...my cd drive can Rip in Windows media/and burn to cd fine. when ever I rip with DBp.amp it appears to rip fine. If I can rip-then the cd drive rips .

Simples! Or are you just telling me to avoid the tech info bit on screen pop up.? unless you are telling me my drive is not compatible with the DBP.AMP.software-which iam sure it is tried an tested. But like I said when I do the c2 test nothing appears in the time bar window.(ican hear the disc spinning in tray) maybe I didn't wait long enough..?

But still don't know about lead in out...but wont tick because your info states "most not supported" and don't reckon C2 IS either........

Windows Media Player will not use C2 pointers. Your drive does not support it. Lead-in is most definitely not supported.

you can rip with dbpa, but just don't tick the C2 error or leadin options. I've seen lots of cd/dvd drives that report C2 error reporting capability that in truth don't support C2.
