CD Destortion

My Cd collection was Ripped using WMA. My L/R speakers are high-end and I've had to replace 3 blown tweeters. I understand that tweeters are normally blown from distortion. Is it possible that the distortion is a product of not using Lossless?

Highly unlikely. I'd look at some other source of the problem.
