    Unknown Artist Overwrite

Hello! I have a question about the CD Ripper...

I have a bunch of burned CDs and after I ripped the first one, it will always ask me if I want to overwrite the tracks that are already in the directory. The burned CDs aren't in AccurateRIP, so it assigns "Unknown" to all the fields. Then I try to do a second disc like that and it says there is already "Unknown Artist - Track 1" and so on in the directory. I don't want to overwrite them and if I say no, it just ejects the CD. How can I avoid this? Is there a way to simply assign it "Unknown Artist - Track 1 (1)" and so on? Thanks for the help!

You are best to type the album name as:

    unknown 1

unknown 2 (for disc 2), etc

The key point, jobcreator, is that you need to give each "album," i.e., each of your CD rips, a unique name. (I would further suggest that you put something in the "Album Artist" window if the CD is a hodge-podge of different artists.) Assuming you are using the default path and naming schemes, this will put each CD rip into a separate folder, and there's no danger of overwriting your previous rips.
