Windows 7and 8.1

I have the R15 dBpoweramp on two computers, a Windows 7 PC and a Windows 8.1 laptop. Is there any problem in using the Windows 7 PC to rip CDs to an external hard drive and then playing files from the same hard drive through the Windows 8.1 laptop? I'm using JRiver to play files.
