    Metadata problem

I've been using dbpoweramp for a couple of years without issue.

I've just started using SONOS speakers and have a curious problem whereby the SONOS Music Library feature does not show all tracks for some albums.
When using Asset upnp with SONOS or other upnp clients all tracks are visible.

SONOS support are telling there's an issue with the metadata but I can't see anything apparent with the ID-Tag viewer.

I've noticed that all of the albums concerned were ripped with 14.3, I haven't managed to find any issues with files ripped using 14.2, 15 or 15.1.

Any thoughts on what the problem might be?

    Re: Metadata problem

Seems conclusive, I've re-ripped a few albums with 15.1 and now SONOS lists all tracks.

Question is whether the existing files can be fixed or do I have to re-rip all affected discs?

You could try using the 'ID Tag Update' utility codec, convert all the files to this codec and the tags are re-written.

Hi Spoon, that seems to have worked.

I converted to add a spare tag, then converted again to remove it at that seems to correct the problem.
Is this a known problem with version 14.3 ?

Quick note for anyone else using SONOS, updating the library index doesn't correct the problem. I had to:
            1. move the problematic album folder out of the library folder
            2. update the music index to remove the album from the library
            3. Move the album folder back to it's original location in the library folder
            4. update the music index to re-add the album to the library

14.3 is quite an old version now.
