Ripping Timeout problem

Hi everyone - I just purchased CD Ripper (15.1) and I have not been able to get it to rip. I've gone through all of the recommended settings from the Help documents. I am trying to rip in LAME mp3, I have it set to Quality (VBR), on "extreme" (~240kbps), and the encoding on Normal. The problem is that it is timing out and I get an error "Reached Secure Rip Time Of 10 Minutes". I have a brand new computer running Windows 8.1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Disable c2 pointers if you have enabled, and try a different CD.
