CD Ripper crashes

CD ripper crashes now when CD is read. Following is from windows 7 error box (details.)
It worked fine on this machine a while ago. I just went to re-rip a CD.
I tried re-installing, but no change. I tried unchecking the AMG meta data, as suggested in another post. No dice.
The DVD drive is recognized with no complaints (built-in laptop.) It brings up the track list with no meta data, then crashes in a few seconds.
Any ideas?

Uncheck all metadata providers, as a test.

Thanks, but I actually don't see where the providers are selected. The Options box has lots of choices about the metadata but nowhere to select the providers.

When I thought I was deselecting AMG, it was just the "last [xxx}" option.

The drop menu to the right of the meta button.

OK! I deleted all the providers, then selected them one by one and tried a CD. The one and only one which was crashing the program was--you guessed it--AMG. It's running fine with all the others except AMG. For whatever reason.

Hmmm tried this with that Floyd cd I was having issues with, still crashes, I've gone through about 1500 cd's and that one is still having issues, odd

Hi Spoon, about 6 seconds into the first track rip, even with all meta disabled, I think I posted the screenshot in that other thread, just basic, "dbpoweramp is not responding" no biggie, but why 1 out of 1000's is a mystery,lol
