dBpoweramp Ref 15 and Batch Ripper
I am trying to use a shared folder to store the flac files from several machines.
I use the set button and browse to the folder \\PCname\d\musicfolder\
This fails to work so I try \\PCname\d:\musicfolder\
this also fails.
I am using Windows XP, and I can write into the folder from the remote PC.
Is it faster just to rip to local hard drives (I don't have a real server or a NAS setup)?
Any suggestions?
Question about the unique auto incrementing number in the path:
Can I seed it with an offset (so it doesn't always start at 1) and can I use it in the path as a subfolder?
My CDs are numbered and I want to try and preserve my indexed list.
I am using [composer] / [album title] but when I try to add /[artist] the artist is ignored in the path but show up in the metadata.
Why is this not allowed.
I started with [composer]\[album][IFMULTI] \Disc [disc][]\[track]-[title][]
then added [composer]\[album][IFMULTI] \[artist]\Disc [disc][]\[track]-[title][]
but artist is ignored.
It appears that I can purchase 1, 5 10 licenses what about 7?
Thanks
Barry
