Unknown Artist Folder with Naim Audio n-Stream

Hi,

Bought dBpoweramp in Jan. i have ripped more than 1000 CDs. All is well except that for some reason some tracks of an album is moved to a folder call 'unknown artist' in Naim n-Stream. This is when I select "Artist/Album" in n-Stream. I also notice this happen to tracks that have double track index, Track 1 01 title.

I am using a WD My Book Duo as a NAS. I have tried just about everything and it is still the same.

1) restarted WD NAS
2) uninstall and reinstalled Naim n-Stream
3) cleared UPnP Cache
4) Re ripped

Where is the problem, I doubt it is the ripper. Any advice? Thanks.

What format did you rip to?

It is likely a bug in the upnp server on the WD NAS, you can install something like mp3tag to double check the tags (independently) from dBpoweramp.

Thanks for your quick response. Please recommend a NAS, Synology? My Naim dealer pointed to the NAS as well. Listening to music has never been so convenient and frustrating at the same time

QNAPs give you more choice of upnp server software, our own Asset upnp is releasing soon on the qnap.
