Report it to Norton, there is no virus in this file (it was compiled today on a clean system, if it had a virus, the other 10 .exes including dBpoweramp would have also). It is a false positive.

Without this file you will not be able to get AMG metadata in CD Ripper for the 64 bit version.

Just to double check I uploaded that file to:

They do an online scan against 48 of the top virus checkers (Norton was not in that list), they all came back negative.

I've noticed Norton flagging a lot of false positives lately.

Norton has confirmed it was a false alarm and has updated its definitions.

                Hi,

I just updated my copy of dBpoweramp to Release 15.1 and Emsisoft Internet Security detected the Gen:Variant.Symm.47701 (B) malware in the Graphic Equaliser.dll file.

                Please advise. Thanks.

Report to your anti-virus company, it is a false positive.

All's well. Just received confirmation -
BitDefender has confirmed that the false positive has been fixed.
