    Ripping method

Hello, im new in the ripping process and i was thinking on ripping cds first rip the cd as ISO file and then open the ISO file with dbpoweramp. It is a good way to get good ripping audio? or there is no difference between ripping straight from the cd and iso file?

    Thank you

    Re: Ripping method

If you rip to Iso, then a secure ripper like dBpoweramp will not be able to use its secure methods, such as c2 pointers or re-reads, as errors are encoded into the iso as non-errors.
