CD Repair

Hope this doesn't sound to off topic but it's related to ripping. Question is this.. Can anyone share opinions of the system that is used to clean and resurface CD's that people refer to on Amazon and eBay? I am considering CD that seems to have undergone this process but I am concerned about this process mainly because I was unaware of it.

Does it do a fair job? How does the play surface look after going through process?

I want to be sure Accuraterip will recognize it.

CDs can certainly be cleaned in many different ways (some pretty aggressive). The cleaner could be either successful or not. Hard to guess about any particular CD.

Accuraterip may recognize the CD, but cleaning it does not guarantee you will be able to rip it without errors therefore you may still not get an AccurateRip match.
