You could try a reinstall, however I am certain it relates to user account permissions, try right clicking on the Music Converter (or Batch Converter) icons >> run as Administrator

OK, tried that too but still get the same error message. I have no probloem with any other software to access any of my hard drives.

Spoon, administrator does not work either. Any other ideas?

Do you have a different computer you can try it on?

Or insert a USB flash disk and convert a file from the flash to the flash (as flash disks would never have permission issues).
