External dvd-rw usb2 for ripping in dbpoweramp

HI,

I'm in the process of downgrading my gaming box/general computer into a m-itx box which will require a external usb dvd-rw.

I was looking at either a LG GP60NB50 PORTABLE USB DVD WRITER or an ASUS SDRW-08D2S-U EXTERNAL SLIM DVD WRITER.
Are these able to to configured correctly for offset etc. in dbpoweramp?

I've not committed to the case yet because it is important that whatever route I take, it can rip lossless flac bit perfect to the standard I'm used to or better.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

All CD drives can be configured correctly for offset, check on accuraterip.com to see if the drive is listed, if it is then it makes the configuration easier.
