Ripping Tracks - Secure and Insecure

I ripped a CD and out of the 10 tracks all were secure except two. I chose to re-rip those insecure tracks by themselves and they ripped secure. Why the inconsistency?

happens occasionally. rereading of those tracks can sometimes solve the problem (keep in mind that only a frame or two being off can cause it to show as insecure). Likewise, sometimes you'll get insecure or error on one or more tracks from a CD and then ripping on a different DRIVE can solve the problem.

and for me, when I have to rerip a few tracks to get SECURE it is almost always one of the last few tracks on the CD....

Interesting. I've seen a few CD's where it seems the higher number of re-rips per track the less of a chance of it resolving secure.
