    Ripping Multiple tracks as one

I rip a lot of classical music CDs and would like to be able to rip each composition as a single track (i.e. instead of ripping Orff's Carmina Burana as 22 tracks, rip it as one). If CD has only one piece, it's easy. However, if CD has on it say 3 concertos, each made of 3 movements, currently you have to rip same CD 3 times - once for each concerto - because there is no way to choose that I want to combine tracks 1-3 into single piece and tracks 4-6 into another single piece and so on... at least I couldn't find a way.

I was wondering if there is a better way to do this and I just haven't realize it?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

PS: I thought one of the older versions had an option where one could select which tracks to combine into single track for multiple groups of tracks in a single ripping process, but later was changed to current more restricted selection.

When you click Rip as One on the tool bar, you can position the start and end positions with the mouse.

I know I can select Start & End points. However, as I understand it, I can set only one pair of markers per rip, so if a CD contains 4 concertos on it with 3 movements each, I have to rip it it 4 times.
Is there a better way, where I can set Start-1 / End-1; Start-2 / End-2; Start-3 etc... points, so that I can define MULTIPLE pairs of markers and rip CD in a single session?

The only way is to rip multiple times.

I've run into this issue as well....album listings get very cumbersome when every movement is a separate track.

One other option, especially if you're addressing this problem post-rip, is to append the additional tracks using the "Inset Audio" DSP. So let's say you want to combine the following tracks to be one track called "Concerto A":

          1. Concerto A movement 1
          2. Concerto A movement 2
          3. Concerto A movement 3

Start with track 1, and without converting to a different audio format, apply the "Insert audio" DSP to add another track after it. You can combine as many as you want this way.
