Hi,
I yesterday purchased a License to dBpoweramp and am now trying to get going with it. Since I only am using Ultrabooks with no internal Drives, I'm using a USB Drive from ASUS (SDRW-08D1S-U). Checking the AccurateRip List, I found that this drive is listed, but no offset is listed, instead it Shows "purged". According to tests with a CD with permanent Marker according to your Suggestion on testing C2, it states that it supports C2. So I set it to use C2 and as well activated the 8KBytes Support for USB/Firewire. As well the tests reported having a Buffer of 17 Bytes. So i left the default Value of 1024.
So far I've Setup dBpoweramp according to your Setup guide and have made 2 profiles. One for Secure and one for UltraSecure.
i as well used the Settings that it will abort ripping when it has to re-rip more then 100 Frames, and 1 minimal pass, 2 maximal passes and ending after 1 clean pass.
I've so far ripped 4 CDs with the Secure profile. They all show the same results. All Tracks with the exception of the last Track will say "Accurate (x)" where x ranges from 12 to 200. Only the last Track will always Show "x AR 'Tick' Secure". These markings are sort of opaque, so I'm not sure if they are greyed out. In the Line below it summarizes then 13 with the AccurateRip Logo and 1 with the 'Tick' (Secure ?)
When I then rip explicitly only this track with the UltraSecure Profile, it will mark this Track as Error and state that it ripped Insecure and will Abort the re-rip since it would have to re-rip more then 100 Frames. I attached the Secure Extraction Log at the end of this post. On all the 4 CDs it claims that it would have to rip 443 Frames. After Setting the Frame Limit to 500 and the re-rip time to unlimited, it would rip the last tracks with the and mark the with an "i" and Secure.
- What might be the cause of this last Track Problem?
- can it be fixed by changing the ripping configuration
- what else could I try to fix the Problem?
Any help pointing out the Problem would be very much apreciated.
