    Reference 15 Release

    Greetings,

I've been doing much research over the past month or so on CD ripping. I've got a project of 1800 or so CDs ahead of me, and have just about decided that dbPA is the best choice for me. However, I read recently somewhere here that release 15 is coming. I would hate to pay for 14 now, then have 15 release soon and be stuck having to pay an upgrade cost. Does anyone have any information on this? Should I wait a tick?

    Thank you.

It might even be March, as the code is now final.

So if the OP buys R14 now, will he have to pay more to upgrade to R15 in March?

That's really what he wants to know.

Yes that is correct, there will likely be a 4 week auto upgrade period fro R14 to R15.

Thank you. I just might wait then. Is there a R15 feature list that is available anywhere?

BTW, the 21 day try before you buy is what did it for me. I'm very particular about tagging, the the DSP plugin for tagging had the exact features that I was looking for. It is what sold me on the program.

What do the upgrades normally run?
