CD Ripper crashing computer

Just started using db Poweramp cd ripper. Any album with a track that had an error causes ripper to just keep going even after done ripping. If I try to CANCEL process, it locks up my whole system. Have to reboot computer. Running Win 7. Something wrong with settings? I followed the guide to get started. The only thing I was not sure about was C2 setting.

You could try disabling C2, by lockup you mean even the mouse stops moving?
