Error message when ripping long music tracks

I have updated version to 14.4. Also installed new CD Drive. Recent problem, before and after update...ripper unable to secure rip CD tracks longer than 7 or 8
minutes. Shorter tracks are OK, but always getting error message on the longer tracks. Here's the error message:-

    Error ripping to Wave, 'Track 8' to 'D:\zzz Personal_AVD PC\CD Rips\Charly Antolini\Knock Out
    2000\08 Charly Antolini - Duwadjuwanadu.wav'
Error: Copying Temporary Rendered Live-DSP file, over Temp Non-Live DSP file, disk full?.

    Please help!

If you open windows file explorer and type %tmp%

then press enter, this is the drive temp files are written to. You should have 2GB or more free space here

Hi, I can see a huge number of files in this folder, but how do you check how much free space is still available?
Is there a setting somewhere that sets the max size for this folder?
Also, is it OK to just simply delete ALL the tmp files in this folder?
      Thanks.

Re: Error message when ripping long music tracks

You would see which drive this folder is on and see how much space Windows reports free on that drive (Start >> Computer).

Normally it is ok to delete temporary files, any which are actively being used will be prevented from being deleted.

The folder is in the C-drive, which still has 78GB free space.
Anyway, I closed all programmes and then tried to delete all the files in the Temp folder.
System prevented deletion of 5 files, but the rest were all deleted. Temp folder size now about 50MB.
After that, tried ripping again. Used a CD with 6 reasonably long tracks.
First 3 tracks OK, then the problem came back. Same Error messages:-

          Error ripping to Wave, 'Track 4' to 'D:\zzz Personal_AVD PC\CD Rips\Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart\Sinfonia Concertante K. 364, Concertone K. 190 [Perlman & Zukerman]\04 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Concertone for 2 Violins in C major KV190; I. Allegro spiritoso.wav'
Error: Copying Temporary Rendered Live-DSP file, over Temp Non-Live DSP file, disk full?. [dBCoreConverter::HandleNonLiveDSPs]

          Error ripping to Wave, 'Track 6' to 'D:\zzz Personal_AVD PC\CD Rips\Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart\Sinfonia Concertante K. 364, Concertone K. 190 [Perlman & Zukerman]\06 Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Concertone for 2 Violins in C major KV190; III. Tempo di Menuetto. Vivace.wav'
Error: Copying Temporary Rendered Live-DSP file, over Temp Non-Live DSP file, disk full?. [dBCoreConverter::HandleNonLiveDSPs]

(FYI, I re-ripped track 4 at first, it failed. Stopped for a while, then tried track 5 and it was successful! So I tried tracks 4 and 6 again, at the same time...then it failed again (message above)

Which security software do you use?

Avira Free Antivirus. Have been using this for quite a while. Ripper didn't have any problems until recently.

As a test try to disable it.

Re: Error message when ripping long music tracks

Yes! It's working OK now. Ripped 3 CDs without a hitch.
                  Thanks!
Just that now I have to disable anti-virus, rip the CDs, and then enable it again.
                  Perhaps there's a simpler solution?
Maybe use another security software that won't bring up this problem? Any suggestions?

Security software should not block normal programs from operating, if it blocks dbpoweramp it could block any other program and you would wrongly think that program does not work.
