Copy settings and metadata cache to fresh installation

    Hi,

I'm probably going to re-install the OS on the PC which currently has dBpa installed.

Is there a way for me to copy the ripper metadata cache and all other settings to a new install?

    Thanks.

Can we have a sticky (possibly under FAQs) listing all Illustrate software settings registry and file path locations?

Sorry to be awkward, but can I copy the cache from a Windows 7 machine to an XP machine? I tried copying it to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\dBpoweramp but it won't pick up the cached metadata and artwork.

Do I need to copy any registry entries as well? (I can't do a direct import as the machine is different with a different drive etc. It's a VM actually.)

It is based on user name, so you would have to make sure you copy to the right location, on Windows 7 by default the administrator account is not used.
