    No Metadata?

I tried to rip a new CD (Voodoo Sense by Joachim Kuhn) on my RIPNAS. It was rejected because no metadata.
I tried it using dBpoweramp on my laptop. It ripped OK bu no metadata.
I open itunes on my laptop and straightaway it read metadata.
What is the problem with dBpoweramp?

In any database there are missing discs (applies to Apples database which is Gracenote also).

Thanks for that. But why doesn't RIPNAS rip the CD when it doesn't find metadata? Without separate laptop, it seems I'd by unable to rip the CD.

You can, once it rejects the CD, you reinsert the same CD and it will rip it.
