    Secure ripping

I enabled secure ripping. I see following as ripping status for all tracks.

    X AR Checked symbol Secure

This is brand new Indian CD. Why do I have AR as x mark? Do I really need secure for brand new CDs? I am wondering if secure is only needed if you feel scratches on the disk.

    One more Question.
When I rip, I see name of the file as track* artist-title (for example 01 Suchith Suresan - Freedom.flac). How do I see the value as
    01 Freedom- Suchith Suresan.flac?

Appreciate for any help to make sure I am not wasting time or not doing right.

    Re: Secure ripping

The X AR means the disc is not in the database, secure ripping is needed to catch manufacturing defects.

Thanks for quick reply. I guess secure ripping is better method. I will always use this.

      I set following

Secure method is selected. In that, "Enable ultra secure rippling" is selected. I guess I can uncheck "Acurate ripping" for Indian songs. Even with this enabled, it is not taking long time.

I see following in the output.

      Information ripping to FLAC, 'Track 2' to 'C:\aaamovies\Flac\Devi Sri Prasad\Yevadu (2013)\02 Nee Jathaga - Karthik,shreya Ghosal.flac'
      Track 2: Ripped LBA 18997 to 39761 (4:36) in 2:05. Filename: C:\aaamovies\Flac\Devi Sri Prasad\Yevadu (2013)\02 Nee Jathaga - Karthik,shreya Ghosal.flac
      Secure [Pass 1 & 2, Ultra 1 to 3]
      CRC32: 8769D142 AccurateRip CRC: 6704FD97 (CRCv2) [DiscID: 006-0006640c-00220853-3a061f06-2]

Appreciate any feedback if I am missing anything else.

Leave AccurateRip always enabled, even for Indian songs, it just needs someone else in India to have ripped that disc before and it will be used automatically.
