Ripping Time Delta Between Burst & Secure?

Setting up the Ripper with the suggested settings, utilizing Secure Rip, etc., my rips are taking forever!

When I revert to Burst I am at a more "normal" ripping time of about 10 minutes for a 1:06:05 length disc.

Are there tweaks I can make in Secure mode to help speed up the process or should I stay in Burst mode as long as my rips meet the AccurateRip standards?

Secure mode is effectively Burst with AccurateRip verification (if no match then extra ripping is done). If you have enabled c2 pointers and it makes it really slow, disable c2 pointers.
