    problem with naming scheme

I am finally ready to do my definitive rip of all my albums after playing with dbpoweramp for a while.

Although I have resolved most problems I have come up against the naming scheme still perplexes me.

I know what I want in the normal part of the naming scheme which is create [artist] directory if not there [album] sub-directory then [track] - [artist] - [title]

My problem is with compilations

Please could someone explain how when ripping a compilation, a folder is created of the title adding ,discx if more than 1 in Various Artists i.e \Various Artists\[album],discx
and inside the songs are setup as [track]- [artist]- [title]

I've played around with yours plus the default naming schemes and cannot work out how to get \Various Artists\[album],discx

When testing an example multi disc I see

    Various Artists\Immaculate, Disc 1 - Disc 1\05 - Madonna - Holiday

    instead of Various Artists\Immaculate,Disc 1\05 - Madonna - Holiday

    Thanks in advance

    Re: problem with naming scheme

post the string here from your dynamic naming setting so we can see what you've entered to produce the above. (and why would you want a separate album subdirectory for each disk under various artists. Wouldn't it make more sense to have one subdirectory for the album, then a separate disk 1, disk 2, etc. subdirectories underneath the single album name? Like:

    Various Artists/Immaculate/disk 1/track....
    ......................................./disk 2/track...

I suspect you're getting double disk no. listed because you have the settings for dbpa set to show disk number with album title in another settings location.
