    Intermintent ripping error

I have been ripping a bunch of disks and have 3 DSP actions set - Replay Gain, HDCD, and ID Tag Processing to delete ratings. Every now and then, I get the error:
Error: Copying Temporary Rendered Live-DSP file, over Temp Non-Live DSP file, disk full? [dBCoreConverter::HandleNonLiveDSPs]

I have plenty of disk space. Any idea of the cause? I was able to reproduce the error with the same track. I am using the latest version 14.4 with DSP affects Release 9.

    Thanks,

    David

What codec are you ripping to?
Are you applying replay gain or just calculating?

I would recommend against applying replay gain and against the HDCD DSPs if you are ripping to lossless.

You don't need the ID Tag Processing DSP to remove ratings when ripping. Just go into the meta-data settings and uncheck rating.

I am ripping to flac and just calculating replay gain. Thanks for the tip about the meta-data settings and removing the HDCD DSP. btw, I think I picked up the HDCD setting from the configuration tutorial.

The temporary location is the hdd where you system temp files are, if you have multiple drives.

Since you are ripping to flac (lossless), you can alway convert to HD later. But once you convert to HD its irreversible. I would go into the meta-data section and click the HDCD tag and the pre-emph tack. Make sure you turn on the track technical column in the main window.

Makes sense... However, I have gigs of free space on my SSD drive which is running a clean install of Windows Professional Ultimate.

Something is stopping the file copy, do you have any security software?

Yes - I am running a CA product called Total Defense Security Center. I checked the logs and did not see anything suspicious. If the problem occurs again I will uninstall the product and see if it resolves the issue. Thanks for your assistance.
