    Re: rip mp3

dbpoweramp CD ripper reads Audio CDs. The disc you have created is probably a CDR/CD-ROM with files on it, the files being mp3 files.

Why do you want CDRipper to read this disc anyway?

Hi Max. I think you may be confusing the functions of the various dBp programs, as CD Ripper wouldn't have any utility with mp3 files.

If you could explain exactly what you're trying to do with those mp3 files, I'm sure users here can help you determine whether dBp is the appropriate program for your needs.

It sounds to me like you shouldn't need to process or modify the files in any way....they should be ready to play already. I don't think dBpoweramp is needed in this case.

Copy them from the USB drive to your existing music library (assuming you keep you digital music on a computer or network storage device). If the Linn works like other music players, it'll need to scan your music library and update its index to include the new files. (This is usually set to occur automatically on a schedule, automatically when new music is added, or you should be able to force a manual update.)

Once the new music is in your music library, you should be able to play it just like any other music.
