re-mastered albums

Stupid new person question. I've started the long quest of ripping the two thousand or so albums i have, and everything is going fine, except ... any album that is re-mastered doesn't work. even numbered tracks are errors, odd numbered tracks aren't accurate copies. I've treid everything I can think of - switched my dsp setting for HDCDs on and off, removed them tried flacs, mp3 files; changed the rip speed, switched on and off various accuracy settigs and no change. what am I missing?

You need a different CD drive, as it is the drive which is unable to read the CD, unless the CD is very damaged, the issue lies with the drive.
