    no result observed from DSP: Move Destination File on Error

    Howdy,

    Through many and varied attempts (tag and/or absolute paths etc.) I've been unable to observe any action resulting from application of the DSP: Move Destination File on Error.

    Present details:

    CD Ripper: Options> Secure Options > 'Mark track as Error if Insecure'
    ...is engaged, and tracks in question do show as 'Error' within the interface

    ++ Encoder: Multi-Encoder >
    WAVE [DSP: Move Destination File on Error settings applied herein]
    MP3 [No DSP applied]

    +++ ...WAVE Encoder:
    Output location: Dynamic
    Folder: E:\0007_WAV
    Dynamic: [artist]\[album]\[title]

    ++++ DSP: Move Destination File on Error settings:

    Root Path: E:\0007_INSECURE_RIP\
    Naming: error\[title]

    Can anyone suggest the problem/further troubelshooting?

    Thoughts:
    -perhaps this DSP does not work with the multi-encoder (vs single encoder) ? (is next planned test)
    -try a different output drive? (there've been no issues with the CD Ripper output creation on this drive so far)

    thanks!

    No it cannot work with the multi encoder, you could try putting the DSP effect on the settings page for the codec within multi-encoder.

      Thanks Spoon. I think that is where I have it defined there already.

      Perhaps you can confirm, I have it at:

      >Launch CD Ripper...
      >> [[Multi Encoder] Encoder Settings] > Select [Wave]
      >>> Settings...
      >>>> [DSP Effects / Actions] : (Move Destination File...)

        (resolved) multiencoder no result observed from DSP: Move Destination File on Error

        Ahh, I got it, now.

        I had had it defined within the wave encoder. This was the wrong place.
        I added it instead as a DSP on the multiencoder itself. [i.e. of the vertical side tabs: DSP/Encoder/Meta)]

        Success, thanks!
